Detailed Replica Body
Traxxas artfully captures the spirit and unmistakable shape of Ford’s Mustang GT with this fully licensed replica body. The low, muscular stance is accentuated by wide tires riding on beautiful black chrome rims. Replica Tires and Wheels
Sticky street tires feature an aggressive tread pattern and wrap around gorgeous replica wheels with lug nut details (patents pending). The replica brake discs incorporate standard 12mm wheel hexes and feature red brake calipers. The 4-Tec 2.0 features a high angle steering option with separate mounting holes in the linkages. With minor modifications, high angle steering allows your Traxxas Mustang GT to rotate further for epic drifting around corners. The high tech suspension also features bosses molded into the arms to adjust droop. Suspension droop is the amount of downward travel on the wheels. Droop adjustment allows the 4-Tec 2.0 to be tuned for better stability in the corners.
Integrated Servo Saver
Conventional servo savers earned a reputation for sloppy steering in on-road cars. 4-Tec 2.0 changes all that with its integrated servo saver. The servo saver secures directly to provide precise and responsive handling in all situations. An integrated collar allows the spring tension to be adjusted for personalized settings or track conditions.
Waterproof Receiver Box
Real world driving requires dealing with the elements. The Traxxas Mustang GT comes fully protected with a patented waterproof receiver box. The innovative receiver box keeps the micro receiver dry, even in the worst weather.
High-Torque Waterproof Steering Servo
A high-performance car needs a powerful steering servo for responsive performance, and Traxxas delivers with the 2075 high-torque servo. This waterproof steering servo uses O-ring seals to keep the fun going when things get wet. Waterproof for all-weather action, the 2075 provides 125 oz-in of steering muscle.
Molded Wire Retainer
A simple wire clip would look out of place with this futuristic high tech chassis. Traxxas engineers designed a trick molded wire retainer to keep wiring secured safely out of the way.
Fixed Gear Mesh System
Setting the perfect gear mesh can be a complicated and arduous process. The Traxxas Mustang GT eliminates the hassle with its innovative fixed positioning system. Use the convenient chart included in the user manual to select the proper hole for your pinion gear.
High-Current Connector
The Traxxas Mustang GT and included battery are equipped with the patented Traxxas iD High-Current Connector. Designed to handle high-current applications and funnel maximum power to your vehicle’s electronics, the Traxxas iD High-Current Connector also enables the charger and battery to communicate. This means optimum charge settings specific to your battery for quicker, safer, more complete charging and extended battery life.

Dual Rear Camber Link Mounts
The rear suspension features dual mounting points for the camber links to accommodate different bodies. Use the traditional high mount for standard bodies or the low-profile mount for sleek bodies like the Ford GT.
Rubber-Sealed Ball Bearings
Precise rubber-sealed bearings offer super low-friction performance and maximum protection in dusty environments. These virtually maintenance free bearings are used in all exposed locations on the car.
One-Piece Driveshafts
One-piece steel driveshafts save weight and send power directly to the wheels for lightning quick response times. Extended drive cups allow for maximum articulation and ultimate durability.
Center Driveshaft
4-Tec 2.0 distributes power to all four wheels through a one-piece center driveshaft. The lightweight aluminum driveshaft reduces rotational mass for faster acceleration off the line. There are no dogbones to wear and no drive cups to wobble. The shaft runs perfectly straight with superior rigidity and durability.
Proven Sealed Differentials
The 4-Tec 2.0 chassis features the same sealed, beveled-gear differential in the front and rear as the ultra-rugged Slash 4X4. Tune the performance by varying the viscosity of the fluid inside.
